The South East Zone of a pro-unity group, Nigerians Unite For Tinubu Shettima Mandate (NUFTSM) has hailed FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu for working hard at harnessing Nigeria’s diversity to forge unity, cohesion and integration among people of all ethnic nationalities.
The group in a statement by its South East Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Pius Nzewuihe stated that as director general of NUFTSM, the minister has proved to be a political warhorse by galvanizing men, women and youths from different race, region and religion that canvassed for votes that eventually led to the victory of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice Kashim Shettima in the last elections.
According to Mr. Nzewuihe, the group expressed joy at the victory of President elect and his vice describing them as men with immense and outstanding qualities assuring Nigerians that the nation is in safe hands as far as the unity, progress and prosperity of the country is concerned.
Stating further, the zonal Coordinator observed that though there were no perfect election anywhere in the world, the recent elections passed high credibility parameters reflecting the wishes of majority of Nigerian voters hence it has been widely acclaimed as the freest, fairest and finest in the history of elections in the country.
The South East Zonal Coordinator of NUFTSM opined that their Director General Dr. Ramatu Aliyu has left no one in doubt about her capacity to further utilize every opportunity to work for national unity, growth and development which the incoming Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu desperately needs.
“We appeal to the President Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring to bear his nationalistic disposition and extend same to the South East in terms of appointments and equitable distribution of other dividends of democracy and urged Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu to preserve the unity and love vision of NUFTSM as it translates to overall prosperity of Nigerians especially our youths and the downtrodden”, the group’s zonal leader said.
