SOUTH EAST Patriots’ Assembly (SEPA) which supported President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the recent presidential election, has lauded FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu for working hard to make Abuja a habitable home for all resident Nigerians from diverse ethnic nationalities .

SEPA’s Chief Media Strategist, Hon. Emeka Nwankpa, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja yesterday after an extraordinary meeting of the group to assess the state of the territory in preparation for the formal inauguration on May 29 of the President-elect.

The group said that its study revealed that the FCT Minister of State who supervises the six Area Councils of the FCT Administration has forged unity, harmony and integration among the various ethnic nationalities currently existing in the territory.

Hon. Emeka Nwankpa, in a press release issued by SEPA described the state of unity, harmony and coexistence in the territory as “deep, warm, excellent and virtually mutual”, noting that it aligned with the vision, goals and action plans of the Renewed Hope Manifesto of the incoming Bola Ahmed Tinubu Government.

“What we found during our study about the state of harmony in the FCT is delightfully amazing.

“Ethnic nationalities existing in the FCT have maintained deep, warm, excellent and virtually mutual coexistence which have translated into the tremendous unity and harmony particularly in the six Area Councils under the official supervision of the Minister of State.

“”It is note worthy that this pleasant state of affairs aligns with the vision, goals and action plans of the Renewed Hope Manifesto and Agenda of the incoming Bola Ahmed Tinubu Government.

“”It is on this premise that we strongly advise the President-elect that in his search for a national government of competence, the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu already fits the bill. He does not need to look far, the woman has kept bationalities in the federal capital territory especially the six area councils in unity and harmony””, the group said.

The group further noted that at the recent elections, the President-elect emerged as a result of the popular desire and will of many Nigerians across racial, regional, religious and political divide seeking the unity, peace, security and stability of the country.

The group’s top chieftain further observed that the recent massive reception by FCT residents for the President-elect’s home return from France was further proof that many Nigerians from different regional, ethnic, religious and political persuasions had fully accepted the outcome of the elections and resolved to put it behind, awaiting his forth-coming official inauguration with zeal, anticipation and eagerness to see a new Nigeria emerge with renewed hope.
