Two top Boko Haram leaders, Amir Modou Marte and Amir Moustapha Baga, have been killed, in rival fatalities, according to a post by PRNigeria.
They were eliminated in an ambush laid by rival fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), on Sunday.
It was further gathered that 15 other terrorists were among the casualties of the Boko Haram group during the ambush at Toumboun Gadura’a.
Analysts have described it as a pleasant welcome development, contending that it was time for the over 10-year old insurgency war to come to a decisive end, no thanks to the resilient troops of the Armed Forces of Nigerian.
